What is Strange Little Obsessions?

Strange Little Obsessions is an immersive creative event celebrating horror, alternative culture, and the independent artists, makers, and storytellers drawn to the darker edges of creativity.

Designed with intention rather than scale, the event prioritises atmosphere, accessibility, and meaningful connection.

This isn’t a loud convention packed wall-to-wall.

It’s a curated experience where horror fans, artists, collectors and curious minds can explore, discover and connect without the overwhelm.

Panels, workshops, games, screenings and experiences… many included in your ticket.

We’re incredibly proud to have been recognised as Best Alternative Culture Event 2026.

As a self-funded event, every ticket purchased, every supporter and every member of our community helps us continue growing and creating unforgettable experiences.

Proudly supported by our Feature Sponsor
Growth Development Foundation

Angie is a holistic wellbeing guide and author of a year-long, neuroscience-backed journal. Through journaling, mindset work and grounded self-inquiry, she helps people build awareness, regulate their nervous system, and reconnect with who they truly are.

Her work explores both the light and shadow within us — something that resonates deeply with creative and alternative communities who aren’t afraid to look beneath the surface.

Through her courses, workshops and journal, Angie supports people in understanding themselves more deeply and moving forward with greater clarity, confidence and self-trust.

You’ll be able to meet Angie at the event, take part in her workshop, and explore her work in person.
